Rameshwaram doesn’t have an airport. The nearest airport to Rameshwaram is Madurai airport, approximately 168 kms away. There are ample flights from Bangalore to Madurai every day. From Madurai there are buses to Rameshwaram after every ten minutes. One can also opt for train. There are many trains from Madurai to Rameshwaram.

The total distance between Bangalore to Rameshwaram is around 600 kms. Bangalore to Rameshwaram is approximately 10 hour road. There are very few direct KSRTC buses from Bangalore to Rameshwaram.
